About Absolute Black Granite
Absolute Black Granite is a natural black stone from India. Its colour is deep and even across the whole surface, without the golden specks of Black Galaxy or the shimmer of Black Pearl.
Because there is no pattern to line up, it suits clean, modern kitchens and bathrooms. It also works well where a large area must look the same, such as floors, wall cladding and long countertop runs.
A polished face gives strong contrast for lettering, so Absolute Black is widely used for headstones, monuments and memorial plaques. Laser-etched portraits and hand-carved designs show up clearly on it.
It is a dense, hard stone with low porosity. Simple cleaning keeps it looking good, and sealing now and then helps honed and leathered finishes, which show marks more readily than a polished face.
