Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you use our website and request quotes or place orders for granite with Devinarayan Granites Ltd.
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Please read these terms carefully. By using this website or placing an order with Devinarayan Granites Ltd, you agree to them.
About These Terms
These terms apply to your use of this website and to quotes and orders with Devinarayan Granites Limited, trading as Devinarayan Granites Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a granite quarrier, manufacturer and exporter based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
Where a signed contract, order confirmation or proforma invoice sets out different terms for an order, those documents take priority for that order.
Using Our Website
The information on this website, including product descriptions, colours, finishes and sizes, is for general guidance. We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but it may change without notice and does not form part of any contract.
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse or disrupt it.
Quotes and Estimates
- Quotes and estimates are free and carry no obligation to buy.
- Each quote is based on the details you provide and is valid for the period stated on it.
- If the specification changes, such as the granite colour, finish, thickness, sizes or quantity, we may need to revise the quote.
Orders and Confirmation
An order becomes binding only when we confirm it in writing, by an order confirmation or proforma invoice, or when we accept your payment against a proforma invoice. The confirmation sets out the agreed products, specifications, quantities, price, packing, payment and delivery terms.
Please check the confirmation carefully and tell us straight away if anything needs to change.
Changes and Cancellation
After an order is confirmed, changes or cancellation are possible only with our written agreement and on the terms stated in the order confirmation, as the granite may already be cut or finished to your specification.
Natural Stone Variation
Granite is a natural material. Colour, veining, crystal pattern and markings can vary between quarries, blocks and slabs, and from samples, photos and screen images. Samples and images show the typical character of a stone, not the exact piece you will receive. Natural variation of this kind is not a defect.
Tolerances and Inspection
Dimensional and thickness tolerances are as stated in the order confirmation. At your request and cost, goods may be inspected by an agreed third-party inspection agency before shipment.
Payment, Shipping and Export Documents
Payment terms, delivery terms and the shipping arrangement for each order are as stated in our written order confirmation. We prepare the export documents agreed for your order.
Risk and ownership of the goods pass to the buyer as set out by the Incoterm stated in the order confirmation.
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, import duties, taxes and customs clearance in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility.
Inspection and Claims
Please inspect goods on arrival. Report any shortage or transit damage to us in writing, with photos, as soon as possible and within any period stated in your order confirmation, so we can help resolve it with you and, where relevant, the carrier or insurer.
Events Beyond Our Control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, quarry or port closures, strikes, government action, container shortages or shipping disruption. Delivery dates are extended for the length of any such event.
Intellectual Property
The content of this website, including text, images, graphics and our logo, belongs to Devinarayan Granites Ltd or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or from any order. Our total liability for an order is limited to the price of the goods concerned under that order confirmation. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Third-Party Links and Privacy
This website links to third-party services such as Google Maps, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X, which have their own terms. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, unless an order confirmation or contract states otherwise.
General
For each order, these terms and the order confirmation form the entire agreement; if they conflict, the order confirmation prevails. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Each party will comply with the export, import and sanctions laws that apply to the order.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated. Terms confirmed for an existing order are not affected.
