Black Galaxy (Andhra Pradesh)

Quarried around Chimakurthy in Prakasam district. A deep black base with golden-bronze flecks of bronzite. Dense, with very low water absorption. Used for countertops, cladding, flooring and memorials, and popular in the USA, Europe and the Middle East.

Kashmir White (Tamil Nadu)

A creamy white base with fine grey specks and occasional burgundy garnets. Flamed for exteriors and polished for kitchens. Used for floors, backsplashes, vanities and column cladding, and popular in the USA, Australia and Europe.

Vizag Blue (Andhra Pradesh)

Quarried near Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam. Bluish grey with silvery waves that resemble flowing water; leather and honed finishes bring out the movement. Used in luxury interiors, hotel lobbies, columns and fireplaces.

Tan Brown (Telangana)

Quarried mainly around Karimnagar and Warangal. A chocolate-brown base with black, grey and tan specks and a strong grain that resists breakage. Used for kitchen counters, paving, stairs and commercial cladding in large volumes.

Jet Black (Andhra Pradesh)

A uniform black with minimal veining that takes a mirror polish. Very dense with very low porosity, which makes it a favourite for headstones, monuments and wall panels in the UK, Japan and Germany.

Meera White

Pale white to light grey with evenly spread specks. Honed and flamed finishes are preferred for slip resistance. An affordable choice for large commercial and residential floors and wall tiles.

Indian Juparana (Tamil Nadu)

Flowing waves of beige, brown and grey. Polished or honed for feature walls, vanity tops and flooring in hotels and luxury homes.

Sapphire Blue (Telangana)

Dark blue-black with metallic silver and grey flecks that catch artificial light. Low porosity makes it suitable for high-traffic floors, façades and exterior walls.

Imperial Red

A striking red base with black and white grains. Mostly polished, sometimes flamed for steps. Used for outdoor steps, monuments and cladding on public buildings.

Paradiso (Tamil Nadu)

Soft purple and grey tones with flowing waves of black. Usually polished to show the full pattern, and used for staircases, countertops, feature walls and temple architecture.

Granite prices depend on:

• The finish (polished, flamed, leather and so on)
• The block grade (A grade or commercial)
• Thickness and size: slabs, tiles or custom cuts
• Order volume: full container loads are priced better

Block Selection at the Quarry

Blocks are graded (A, B or commercial) for colour consistency, cracks and pattern clarity, so the stone matches the buyer's specification before any cutting begins.

Cutting and Finishing to Specification

• Tiles: cut to size, such as 600 × 600 mm or 800 × 400 mm

Inspection and Quality Control

Before packing, each piece is checked for colour uniformity, finish quality, size tolerance (typically ±1 to 2 mm), edge accuracy and cracks. Buyers can specify international standards such as ASTM C615 or the relevant EN standards for their market.

Export Packing

Pieces are packed in fumigated, ISPM-15 compliant wooden crates or bundles with edge protectors, foam sheets and strapping, and labelled with the buyer's details. Because granite is heavy, most orders ship in 20 ft containers.

A good exporter handles the commercial invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, crate treatment certificate and any origin statement the destination country requires.
